Our communities are at a critical turning point. Young people have incredible potential to become the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders — but too many lack access to the education and resources they need to succeed.
Here at Education with a Profit, we're committed to changing that by empowering youth with entrepreneurship education and real-world skills and your donations contributes to the scholarships we provide for youth.
We believe that when you invest in a young person's potential, you transform entire communities — but we need your help. Will you show your support for our mission by making a donation? Your gift will help more young people access the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.
Many of the youth in our program do not have reliable access to technology—such as a Chromebook—outside of school, yet consistent access is essential for becoming a young business owner who operates and grows their own online business. This lightweight Chromebook gives youth entrepreneurs the tools they need to build real-world skills, career readiness, and AI literacy beyond the classroom.
Each device includes a purchased, licensed version of Adobe Photoshop, allowing students to create professional-quality graphics while using cloud-based AI tools, research platforms, and coding resources. With its portable design and secure Chrome OS, the Chromebook turns any space into an office on the go, empowering youth to create, collaborate, and prepare for an AI-driven future.
Donor Impact: Your gift provides a student with the technology they need to own, operate, and grow their business—closing the digital divide and opening doors to opportunity.
Students who receive a scholarship from Education With a Profit to participate in a 40-hour entrepreneurship program are provided with a fully customizable website valued at $1,500, a .com domain ($20), and custom apparel creation software with website hosting for one year ($400).
Each student is required to pay a $200 annual licensing fee, which can be challenging for many to afford. By sponsoring a student, you help remove this barrier while giving them the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship and apply their education in real time through their own custom apparel website. Students earn income as they learn to build, manage, and grow their business using essential AI tools and technologies.
Sponsorships may be applied to any child, including your own, or to groups of children and young adults up to age 25.
Young entrepreneurs cannot build ideas, solve problems, or lead with confidence on an empty stomach. Yet many youth in our program face food insecurity as family assistance programs are reduced.
When basic needs are met, youth are able to focus, create, and fully engage in learning entrepreneurial skills. Nutrition and stability directly impact their ability to show up, collaborate, and turn ideas into action.
Through our partnership with the Walmart Healthy Living Gift Card program, your donation provides youth entrepreneurs and their families with restricted-use gift cards for essential, health-related purchases such as nutritious groceries and personal care items. This support removes barriers so youth can focus on learning, leadership, and building their future.
Education With a Profit teaches youth entrepreneurship by giving students the chance to design, create, and sell custom apparel through real online businesses. This hands-on learning—digital and physical—builds ownership, responsibility, and real-world business skills.
Recently, our production center, where student products are printed and fulfilled, suffered a major setback. A long-term roof leak caused severe mold damage, and a partial roof collapse forced us to move all equipment into storage.
Without our production space, delivery times are delayed and costs have increased due to renting outside facilities. This reduces student profits and removes the hands-on experience our program depends on. In-house production improves quality, speeds delivery, and allows us to pay students higher commissions—directly increasing what they earn while learning.
We are seeking support to:
Our goal is to restore this space so students can learn how products are created from start to finish, safely and actively. The video on this page shows how early youth can begin learning entrepreneurship—the children featured are my own, representing what's possible with access and opportunity.
Your support protects a program where youth learn, earn, and create something real from beginning to end.
